Caring for your Artwork
Here are some important points to remember when caring for your print.
- Keep away from direct sunlight
- Minimize light damage by using UV protective glass in the frame [link to frame guide]
- Always handle your print with the up most care. Always wear white gloves to avoid finger marks getting onto the surface of the print and causing damage.
- Don’t fold your print or roll it to tightly.
- If your print is re-rolled then make sure that tissue paper is first put over the front of the print to protect it.
- Don’t attempt to remove the authentication label attached the back of your print. If you try and do this it will destroyed the label and damage the back of your print. The label is there to indicate that the print is not a forgery. If the label and stamp are tampered with or removed then it will impact on the value of the print because it will not be identified as a signed edition.
- Don’t pin your print to a wall! This will damage the corners of your print and not do the art work the justice it deserves. Please follow our framing guidelines to ensure your print is displayed in the best possible way. View Our Framing Guide
